Futura medical completes ED topical gel trial

Futura Medical, a pharmaceutical drug and medical device group has announced the completion of the first of two clinical trials to evaluate three novel formulations of its topical gel for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED). Futura normally develops products for the sexual healthcare market. According to the trials, an excellent safety profile was achieved, with no serious adverse events recorded and no decline in blood pressure in its users.

The trial also emphasized on the fact that the absorption profile of the gel is consistent with the intended use of the product in the treatment of erectile dysfunction suggesting a rapid onset of action within a few minutes of product application with no prolonged side effects. After getting launched in the market, the drug will be of immense use for ED sufferers as it will be capable of uplifting their sexual life.
