Can Viagra Help Your Turn

We’ve all heard the half-hearted arguments
about whether shralping powder is better than sex (why not enjoy
both?) and how making love is like trying to predict snowfall, but
now comes word from Healthy Traveler that Viagra might become a
must-have piece of emergency gear for skiers and hikers.
It seems that sildenafil (i.e., that little blue pill called Viagra)
can reduce the risk of HAPE, high-altitude pulmonary edema. According
to Healthy Traveler, “Studies on (Viagra’s) use for
pulmonary edema include one published in the Annals of Internal
Medicine in August. German researchers found that the drug not only
prevented this type of edema but also increased the ability to exercise
at altitude.”
The folks at the Wilderness Medical Society in Colorado and also
at California’s Mammoth Lakes Hospital weigh in on the matter
