A generic drug is a copy that is the same as a brand-name drug in dosage, safety, strength, how it is taken, quality, performance and intended use.
Illegal Generic Viagra is illegal and potentially dangerous:
- It is not FDA -approved or regulated
- It may be made with harmful ingredients
- It may be manufactured in countries that have little or no quality control, which may cause contamination
- It is not legal to sell or buy "generic VIAGRA" in the United States
- The product goes by other brand names, like Caverta, Veega, Omnigen, Silagra, Kamagra, Edgera, Juan, Penegra, or Vigrex.
Recognize sites selling illegal "generic VIAGRA":
- Avoid buying from a site which sells "generic VIAGRA" or "generic sildenafil citrate"
- Avoid buying from a site which claims to sell a cheaper form of Viagra. The price is cheaper than VIAGRA, by as much as 70%
- The site claims the drug is made to World Health Organization (WHO) standards, which may be a lie. The WHO does not review or approve any medication
- Do not buy if the drug is sold as a pill, but looks different from Viagra's blue diamond shape
