Viagra is a drug used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction among men. Viagra is manufactured by Pfizer and it is available in tablet form. Viagra was approved by FDA in 1998 to treat erectile dysfunction, a medical condition in men.

I was surprised after reading news which said that Viagra is used for recreational purpose by young adults. To prove this a study was conducted and results showed that Viagra is used for recreational purpose by men below 45 years of age. Viagra is a prescription drug and should be given to any person after properly checking prescription slip written by a doctor.

But here case is different Viagra is available to all who needs it and that’s the reason young generation misuse it. They use it as a party drug and enjoy late night parties after taking Viagra.

It is true that people of age 25 and more can suffer from erectile dysfunction but than reasons are different. In old people it is likely that there libido is not so strong and there energy level falls as age proceeds. In young men reason is poor health and diet. They consume junk foods, soft drinks and food which lacks in important nutrients required by body. Today’s youth do not want to do any physical activity. They watch TV, read books or listen to music in there free time but never try to do any exercise or physical work.

The thing is not about discussing health of young ones but availability of Viagra, for recreational purpose. Serious steps should be taken by Pfizer and as well as by pharmacists, druggists who sell Viagra without prescription to young ones.

So if we want our young ones to be healthy and do not use Viagra for recreational use, we should act now as it is the right time to take some action.
