Erectile dysfunction
and you
ED (Erectile Dysfunction) like
any other disorder has a reason associated with it. But
before going deep into root causes of ED let's first know
what actually ED is?...

Date :
ED also known as impotence
is defined as the inability to achieve and sustain erection
strong enough and also prolonged enough for a successful
sexual intercourse. It is one of the most common sexual
problems faced by a majority of men of all group but particularly
above 40 years of age. According to recent health surveys
around 300 million men around the world suffer from Erectile
Dysfunction to some extent. Coming to causes of ED below
is the list of some of the most well-known causes of Impotence.
AGE- Age is the most prominent cause
of erectile dysfunction. Over 50% of the men suffering
from Ed are aged above 40. This doesn't mean that ED is
associated with age rather ED can happen to young men including
in early 20s. Age has nothing to do with ED and it is treatable
at any age.
PHYSICAL FACTORS : The
fast and changing life of today leads to dreadful physical
and mental stress which may cause impotence. One third of
ED cases are due to physical factors.
PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS:
Anxiety beyond par for sexual satisfaction or good sexual
performance can also cause ED. Thus be relaxed and have
a lenient approach towards sex, don't think about it too
much. If sex is only seen as the accomplishment of penetrative
intercourse, and a failure if that doesn't happen, then
it can be pretty certain that anxiety-related ED will keep
on happening.
DIABETES: It is also one
of most common reasons of impotence. During diabetes level
of blood glucose (sugar) is too high this can damage the
function of muscle fibers within blood vessels and vascular
tissues, including the erectile tissue of the penis. The
worst part is that ED prescription pill like Levitra, Cialis
or Viagra are not so effectual in diabetics suffering from
Ed as compared to normal ED cases. A recent study reveals
that up to 60 per cent of diabetic men will eventually develop
the problem.
SMOKING & ALCOHOL:
Excessive intake of alcohol or smoking can also lead to
erectile dysfunction. Smoking increases the chance of atherosclerosis
developing and smokers have an increased risk of developing
ED.
Treatment : Erectile
Dysfunction is treatable and its not as complex as it
sounds. A lot of easy options are available for the treatment
of erectile dysfunction e.g. instance medication, counseling,
physical devices and surgery. Simplest and more effective
way is to opt for ED drugs
like Viagra, Cialis,
and Kamagra etc.
Conclusion : Don't follow
any myths associated with ED. feel free to discuss the issue
with your health care professional or partner. Erectile
dysfunction is easily treatable so don't ruin your sexual
life and relationships.
